Meet Allison

Allison is a clinical psychologist with extensive experience in child, adult and family health, mental health services and disability services. She will work with you to better understand yourself, manage difficult emotions and develop skills. Services are primarily face-to-face but can be supplemented by Telehealth sessions as appropriate. Allison sees adult clients (she no longer sees children and adolescents) at her Tewantin office.

Allison is registered with AHPRA and is a Fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists with over thirty years membership.

Allison has been involved in:

  • Providing assessments for disability services;
  • Collaboratively working with parents at child and family health services;
  • Developing a group program for women with perinatal depression;
  • Supporting people on a Suicide Intervention Program;
  • Supervising psychology students at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Headspace and Artius;
  • Managing her private practice for over twelve years.

Qualifications & Memberships

  • Member of the College of Clinical Psychologists.

Allison uses evidence-based approaches for treatment of: anxiety, depression, panic disorder, sexual abuse, perinatal depression /anxiety, social anxiety, PTSD and adjustment to separation or divorce, disability and health problems. She currently also offers diagnosis of Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder for adults.
